/ The Iraqi junior national team tied with its host, the Jordanian national team, with one goal each in a friendly trial match that is part of its preparations for participating in the West Asian Federation Championship in the Sultanate of Oman.

The match started at Prince Hussein Stadium in the Jordanian city of Salt at four o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday.

The Iraqi national team is participating in the West Asian Junior Football Championship, which will be held in the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman for the period from the 10th to the 20th of this month.

The Iraqi national team plays in the first group, alongside the national teams of Oman, Lebanon and Yemen.

The Iraqi youth team tied with its Jordanian counterpart 0-0 in a first test match that took place in Jordan last Sunday.
