/ On Friday, the Iraqi national football team advanced one place in the FIFA international rankings after defeating its Philippine counterpart yesterday with an unanswered goal, which came at the feet of Muhannad Ali.

The Iraqi national team advanced to 58th place in the world according to the FIFA classification, replacing the South African national team, which was ranked 58th in last month’s classification, while the Argentina national team still leads the list in the first classification.

The Iraqi national team ranked seventh in Asia, while the Japanese national team maintained first place in Asia, followed by Iran, South Korea, Australia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, according to the international classification.
