/ Coach Hayan Turki announced the starting lineup for the youth team (under 20 years old) to face the UAE Olympic team this evening, Saturday, in the second round of the West Asian Federation Olympic Team Championship (under 23 years old), which is taking place in the Saudi city of Al-Ahsa to determine the positions (5-8). .

The team’s lineup consisted of Wissam Ali, Muhammad Ghaleb, Musa Alaa, Ali Karim, Sajjad Mahdi, Ali Sadiq, Amuri Faisal, Laith Dhia, Ali Haider, Mustafa Nawaf, and Mumel Mahmoud.

Last Wednesday evening, the Iraqi youth team failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the West Asian Football Championship, after losing to the Australian Olympic Club, in the fourth group competitions of the tournament, which are held in a knockout manner.

The match was held at Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, and ended with Australia winning 2-1.
