Shenishil told Agency, “The Iraqi Olympic team will enter a training camp in the city of Dubai, UAE, and will play three friendly matches during the camp in preparation for the Asian Championship, which will start in April of this year in Qatar.”

He added that “the Iraqi national team will meet the national teams of Egypt, Ghana and the Emirates, in preparation for the Asian Under-23 Championship,” indicating that “the matches with strong teams will be important at this time, especially since all the players gather at this time after the international break.”

Shenishil called on the players to “benefit from the matches that the national team will play, which will be at a high level,” explaining that “thinking about the results comes second, as they are friendly matches, and the goal is to benefit technically and identify the gaps that occur in the team’s ranks.”
