/ The Iraqi youth team concluded its last training session today, Wednesday, at the “Mirhan” complex, in preparation for facing the Kyrgyzstan national team in a friendly match, tomorrow, Thursday, at 3:30 pm, Iraqi time, at the first stadium in the “Mirhan” complex in the Turkish city of Antalya.

The Iraqi Football Association said in a statement received by Agency that the training was preceded by a technical lecture by the coaching staff, in the presence of all players, which included an analysis of the players’ individual and collective performance, and how to avoid the mistakes that occurred in the two friendly matches that our national team played against Jordan and against the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk, and work to correct them in the future.

He explained that today’s afternoon training focused on some light physical exercises, as well as some tactical and planning aspects and special applications by the coaching staff for the players. Players Karar Jaafar and Ali Karim were absent from the training, and it was confirmed that they will also be absent from tomorrow’s match against Kyrgyzstan due to injury.

He pointed out that the Iraqi youth team entered a training camp in the Turkish city of Antalya on the 20th of this month, and this camp ends on the 3rd of next month, during which it played two matches against Jordan, which it lost by two goals to nothing, and won the second match against the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk under 20 years old, and will conclude its matches in its camp tomorrow, Thursday, against the Kyrgyzstan youth team.
