This past weekend we flooded our feed with photos, tags and stories from a dream wedding. Location: A beautiful chateau on the French Riviera, celebrants: Oliver Sindlev and Tom Sol.
The meticulous event was a multicultural celebration – the groom is Danny born in Copenhagen and the bride is originally Israeli. The young couple currently live in Miami, but their destination wedding in France has attracted guests from around the world.
Sol, which has already become Sol-Sindlev in recent days, is a jewelry designer and owner of a brand that bears her name. Oliver is a relative of well-known network influencer and hot girl Emily Sindlev.
Beyond the scenery and the beautiful guests, our eyes focused on the bride’s dress. The special strapless dress, which has crossed tulle stripes on the front, stole the show, and after inquiries we discovered that it strengthens the Israeli connection of the wedding.
In a conversation with wedding and evening dress designer Inbal Dror, she tells us that the dress is the fruit of joint work done mostly remotely. “Tom came to me twice,” Dror explains, “once to choose and once to take the dress.” Sol-Sindlev’s second dress was also designed by Dror.
Of course the rolling bridal event provided quite a few interesting looks from Emily’s cut. For the pre-cocktail party she wore a sheer mesh dress with green Lauren feathers, and for the wedding itself a mermaid-cut shoulder-length dress with a feather trail. The day after the big celebrations, Sindlev switched to something more comfortable – a white-pink strapless dress, matching platform slippers and a hysterical oyster clutch – all, without exception, belong to the Chanel fashion house.
