The Israeli company RT LTA Systems, designer, developer and manufacturer of the SkyStar™ family of balloons for use in intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and communication applications – will present for the first time at IDEX, Abu Dhabi.
The systems, which are used for gathering intelligence and gathering information, can carry a variety of payloads, and provide solutions for a wide variety of defense and security tasks. The balloons can be operated in all weather conditions, with a wind limit of 40 knots, for up to three days, with a re-inflating break of only 20 minutes between deployments.
For highly mobile systems, minimal staff is needed, very small logistics footprint. SkyStar systems can be equipped with any payload, including electro-optical, radio, cellular, SIGINT, early warning and many other types of sensors.
