The Arad Group, a member of the LoRa organization, has over the past few years carried out a number of wide test deployments to examine the LoRaWAN standard in its unique characteristics in the field of communications in Israel. The experiments examined, among other things, the required hardware and its compliance with Israeli standards, radio planning in different and difficult field conditions, the functioning of the Laura communication servers in the cloud, and the reliability and continuity of the information transmitted at the end. The group anticipates that by the year 2025 it will install and operate Laura sensors nationwide in significant volumes.
