The system in question is the flagship product of Sipiya Herzliini, founded in 2005 by Itai Katz and originally called EyeSight. It first produced a system for controlling phones and other smart devices through hand movements in the air, which was integrated into Oppo devices, and later moved to more general intelligent computer vision systems, the current application of which in cars is able to analyze the driver’s face to detect whether he is tired, ‘squinting’ or Just focused on the smartphone while driving. In this way, it is possible to prevent unqualified drivers from starting the vehicle, to ‘wake up’ the driver by various alerts or to activate auxiliary systems to prevent accidents.
