The Jonas Brothers Announce 50 New Tour Dates Across North America, Australia, and Europe

by time news

The Jonas Brothers are taking their upcoming summer shows to a whole new level, adding a whopping 50 new tour dates across North America, Australia, and Europe. The hitmaking trio, consisting of Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas, have announced 26 new North American concerts, as well as dates in Australia, marking their first-ever visit to the land Down Under.

The tour will kick off on August 12 with two sold-out nights at Yankee Stadium. With 90 shows in 20 countries, this tour is set to be the biggest one the band has ever done. Fans in North America can register for Verified Fan until July 31st at 10PM ET on the Jonas Brothers’ official website.

For fans in the UK, presale tickets for their tour will be available on Ticketmaster starting from Wednesday, August 2. Additional presale events will be held throughout the week before the general sale goes live on Friday, August 4. Tickets can also be purchased through the Jonas Brothers website or from Live Nation.

Last month, the band revealed that they plan to perform “pretty much every song from all the albums” during their concert at Yankee Stadium. This show was initially announced before the full tour and will serve as a testament to their extensive discography. The Jonas Brothers recently wrapped up a five-night residency on Broadway, where they performed a different album each night. This residency served as a test run for the upcoming tour.

During an interview with Andy Cohen, Nick Jonas shared their approach to the Broadway residency. “We played [each album] in its entirety,” he said. “Which, for a lot of these songs, we’ve never even played them or we hadn’t played them in 15-plus years.” After the successful Broadway run, they received a call about adapting the format into a one-night event and taking it on the road.

The plan for the tour is to “play the familiar songs from each album” while also including some surprises and new ideas. The Jonas Brothers acknowledge that their earlier albums were released when they were teenagers, so the tempo of the songs will be faster this time around. Kevin Jonas expressed excitement after the first night on Broadway, saying, “We got off the stage, and we were like, ‘Wow, that was a very fast set.’ Everything was really quick.’

The Jonas Brothers’ tour will start in Atlanta on October 1 and continue through North America, Canada, Australia, and Europe. The European leg of the tour will conclude in Belfast, Northern Ireland on June 20. Fans can expect an unforgettable experience filled with nostalgia and new surprises as the Jonas Brothers deliver their biggest tour yet.
