Watan Al-Youm: The Jordan Kuwait Bank provided annual support to Azzouti Restaurant, located in the Al-Balad area. It is a non-profit restaurant that aims to achieve the concept of solidarity and social solidarity. Its idea is based on the principle of “the determined and the determined,” where the determined purchases two meals at cost price, one for him and one for himself. For the less fortunate members of society who deserve it, the determined person places a coupon on the wall of the restaurant. The determined person takes this coupon and exchanges it for a complete meal.
The bank installed a prepaid coupon board bearing the bank’s name and logo in the restaurant, and a day of each month was allocated for its employees to volunteer by cooking, cleaning, serving food and distributing it to passersby in need, as a contribution from them and to encourage them to participate in all social responsibility activities and instill the concept of solidarity.
