The junior team loses to its Bahraini counterpart in the Asian Handball Championship

Our junior handball team lost today, Wednesday, to its Bahraini counterpart with a score of 27/28 goals in the match that took place in the Jordanian capital, Amman, as part of the competitions of the tenth edition of the Asian Championship qualifying for the World Cup finals.

The correspondent of the (INA) reported that “our youth team lost today to Bahrain by one goal, 28/27, in the match that took place in the second round of the Asian Championship qualifying for the World Cup hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman.”
He added, “The first half ended with our team trailing by one goal, 15/14,” noting that “the performance of our players changed in the second half and succeeded in advancing over their Bahraini counterpart on more than one occasion, while refereeing errors and rushing to score caused the loss of the victory that was deserved by the Lions of Mesopotamia.”
This is the second loss for our team, as it previously lost to the South Korean youth team by a difference of 7 goals, 20-27.
