The film, which hit theaters on Friday, had only 650 screens on its first day. However, the collection received by the film on the day of its release was a wake-up call to the theater owners who initially rejected the film. The film grossed Rs 4.25 crore on its opening day. On Saturday, the second day, the film doubled to 10.10 crores. Leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​points out that this is the second biggest collection of a film in Bollywood since 2020.

As the collection increased on Saturday, many theater owners approached distributors asking for the film. As a result, the film was released in 650 screens and was shown in 2000 screens for the third day today. The film, which grossed a total of Rs 14.35 crore in its first two days, is being discussed among trade analysts on Sunday.

The film is based on real events and stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmayi Mandlekar, Puneet Issar, Prakash Belavadi, Atul Srivastava and Mrinal Kulkarni in the lead roles.

The characters in the film, including the one played by Anupam Kher, are highly acclaimed by the audience. Director Vivek Agnihotri’s film is based on the experiences of individuals who were directly affected by the Kashmir riots. The length of the film is two hours and 50 minutes.
