jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Democratic Party understands the wishes of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition political party regarding the distribution of ministerial seats in the future Prabowo-Gibran government.

Head of the Strategic Communications Agency and Coordinating Spokesperson for the DPP Democratic Party, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said that the wishes of KIM’s friends were aspirations and of course Prabowo would consider them.

According to him, Prabowo is a democratic figure, very open, willing to accept input and aspirations from anyone. Including the aspirations of the parties who fought tooth and nail during the 2024 presidential election.

“It’s not just him who is fighting, he is trying to accommodate his wishes and aspirations. Especially from friends and close friends who have fought together and all the way to win Pak Prabowo. He will definitely pay close attention,” said Herzaky in his statement, Friday ( 10/5).

The Democrats, said Herzaky, did not question the wishes of KIM’s friends. Because, in this coalition, everything is open to the aspirations of each party.

“Moreover, the coalition is accustomed to being open, conveying aspirations to each other to communicate, so there are no lies between us or nothing is covered up,” he continued.

Herzaky explained that both the Democrats and other coalition parties understood that the final decision rested with Prabowo as the elected president.

He emphasized that the president has the prerogative in determining who helps in the government, in which positions or at which posts.
