Rabat – The Kingdom of Morocco strongly condemns the bombing by Israeli forces of the “Al Maamadani” hospital in the Gaza Strip, which left hundreds dead and injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad said on Tuesday.
The Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its call for civilians to be protected by all parties and not to be targeted, the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry added that the Kingdom of Morocco, whose Sovereign, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, chairs the Al-Quds Committee, stresses the urgency of pooling the efforts of the international community to end hostilities as quickly as possible, respect international humanitarian law and work to prevent the region from sinking into a new escalation and new tensions.
