In Belgium, two followers of Belza from Antwerp won a prestigious kitchen design competition. After the win the Belgian media was interested in the company of the partners. They said that the kitchen was designed by an ultra-Orthodox woman from the local community, a mother of seven children who passed away after the birth of her seventh son

Two Hasidic entrepreneurs from Belza who own the kitchen company ‘Picobello’, Shochi Pinter and Yehuda Aryeh Hoffman won a prestigious kitchen design competition and received a special medal that will catapult their company forward. The two surprised everyone and won the competition out of 230 companies that participated in the prestigious competition.

After winning they told the Belgian media who were interested in how they won and what brought them to work in kitchens. The two said that they won a kitchen design competition, from a design designed by Malki Schweitzer from the local ultra-Orthodox community, Malki died three months ago after the birth of her seventh child, and she managed to design the kitchen that won the competition.

To recall, as reported in ‘Bahadari Haredim’, Mrs. Malka Schweitzer passed away three months ago, the day after the joy of the covenant with her son, after a complication in the birth of her little son, and she was 33 years old at the time of her death.

They said that they started marketing furniture in 2016, when they went to Germany for a special furniture marketing conference in the city of Cologne and met owners of furniture and kitchen companies from Belgium, one of whom suggested that they try the kitchen market. They tried and were not disappointed. They said that apart from the beauty of the kitchen, they make sure to keep the word they gave regarding the price, “We don’t raise the price even if there was a change here or there, time is time, service is service, we keep our word without excuses”. They also said that “if a customer calls that there is a problem, let’s say something breaks, we don’t try to avoid and explain that we are not to blame and it is not our responsibility, but we make sure that the matter is resolved.”

About 230 entrepreneurs participated in the competition, the competition was held by the MHK company which brings together many kitchen companies under it, to cooperate and see how the construction can be improved and how it is possible to renew plans and bring new interviews. One of the things the company promotes is special designs.
