Kuwait City: Kuwait holds a new Guinness World Record by hoisting the largest flag at the Seventh Hole Cave in Oman’s Salma Plateau. The flag was erected by a team called ‘KeFlag’ in conjunction with Kuwait’s National Day celebrations. The team also received a certificate from Guinness World Records arbiter Al Waleed Usman.

The new world record indicates the team’s determination to “immortalize the name of our beloved motherland and national days,” said Keflag team chief Fuad Kabazard.

He said that this is a symbol of solidarity and brotherly relationship between the people of Kuwait and Oman. Kabasard stated that the 16-member team completed it in six months.
