If it is true that a picture is worth a thousand words, the family album of Estela Domínguez García shows a smiling, affectionate young woman, with a very special bond with her parents, Juan Carlos and Yolanda; and that she fought until the end for her great passion: cycling. This Thursday afternoon, when she was returning home from training with her bicycle, a truck fatally ran over her on the N-620, at the junction with the A-62, in Salamanca. “She was a heaven of a girl, affectionate, very hard-working… And due to a mistake in a truck, you are left without a daughter, with all the dreams we had together,” laments her father, with a muffled voice, in a true exercise of integrity .
Her “girl”, as she affectionately refers to Estela, died doing “what she liked the most”, along with Labor Relations and Human Rights (she was studying for a degree at the University of Salamanca).
