I grew up with a passion for this genre – says Abbatangelo, film studies at New York University -, my first short film, Beauty, was already a musical set in a Dickensian London. I think there is room for our way to a genre that is the evolution of opera, of bel canto, which we have exported to the world. And that Hollywood has made it its own. Of course.
