The last picture reminds me of Kochu Preman
Bhavana Studios’ Thangam continues to run with great audience response. Biju Menon, Aparna Balamurali, Girish Kulkarni, Vineeth Srinivasan and many other actors are in the film. Kochu Preman, who recently left Malayalam cinema, also acted in a small but important role in the film.
The film begins by reminding Kochu Preman. Thangam is a different role for the actor who has played many comedy roles and made Malayalees laugh. Kochu Preman plays the role of a father who has lost his son in the film.
There is a scene in the movie where he is standing under a ladder. In that scene without even a dialogue, he portrays his father’s novel through facial expressions. Kochu Preman depicts a helpless father in the film.
Kochu Preman is shown as a defeated man. Even the character’s facial expressions and body language are presented in the same way. His character also tells the investigators about his condition in his son’s disappearance.
It was a tea shop in Coimbatore. The shop was destroyed in an explosion. Got nowhere. said his character during interrogation at the police station. Kochu Preman’s character is also shown in the film as a character who has gone nowhere like his son Kannan.
Thangam was his last film. At the time of his death, the film’s crew recorded Thangam’s Carnork Vida. Kochu Preman died on December 3, 2022.
