This morning (Saturday) the names of two of those murdered in the serious attack that happened last night in Jerusalem were released: the late Eliyahu and Natalie Mizrahi, a married couple in their 40s.

Shimon, the late Eliyahu’s father, was interviewed by News 12 and told about the tragic sequence of events: “We were in the middle of the Shabbat meal. My son and his wife heard the shots, we all did, they went outside to see what was going on, apparently they spotted the terrorist and exchanged a few words with him, then he just pulled out a gun and shot them both,” he said.
The bereaved father attacked: “Why don’t they park a car at the edge of the neighborhood, it’s a sensitive place, they don’t patrol, nothing. My son was a modest person. I spoke to the officer at the scene, I told her I wanted to get details, and she said she couldn’t give me any Nothing”.
The sister of the murdered man added in tears: “The terrorist pierced his whole body.”
The terrorist who carried out the attack in the capital in the Neve Ya’akov neighborhood, in which seven civilians were murdered, is Alkam Hayeri from East Jerusalem. The terrorist has a blue ID card and he arrived at the scene in a vehicle with an Israeli license plate.
