The latest official assessment of the wave of fires that is ravaging central-southern Chile maintains 23 deaths and reduces out-of-control outbreaks from 87 to 51 throughout the country, the National Prevention and Response Service announced this Sunday. before Disasters (Senapred) of the Latin American country.

The flames have already left 1,801 people homeless, 977 injured and 1,475 in shelters prepared to shelter the population of the affected localities.
