The headquarters of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing witnessed the ringing of the bell for the launch of the “Good Housing Charitable Subscription” campaign. The families most in need of housing.

The launch of the campaign was witnessed by His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, the Governor of the General Authority of Awqaf Imad bin Saleh Al-Kharashi, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad Bin Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of stc.

This year’s campaign was launched with the slogan “Your share is green for life” to simulate in its style the issuance of shares of companies in the stock market, and it introduces the concept of “winning share” with charitable and social profits to contribute to the housing of 3,500 families in dire need, by allowing community participation in providing an amount of “one billion riyals.” Divided into 100 million shares throughout the holy month, during which the shareholder can donate a value starting from 10 riyals only.

Al-Hogail stressed that this campaign is the result of the empowerment journey that was launched since the announcement of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the achievements made in the housing sector and developmental housing, in addition to enabling the non-profit sector to achieve several achievements at all levels, including this campaign that aims to secure thousands of homes. For families most in need of housing and achieving developmental dimensions for the children of these families.

The campaign was supported by a number of partners in the public and private sectors, such as the General Authority of Awqaf, Al Rajhi Bank, stc group, mbc group, Al Arabiya channel, the National Housing Company, Ajlan & Brothers Group, Sumou Real Estate Company, Khuzam Real Estate Company, and Al Arabiya as an advertising partner.
