Within the framework of the investigation that was unleashed after the judicial scandal that became known in the last few hours in our city, yesterday one of the lawyers who is accused of being part of an organization dedicated to usurping different properties for then sell them using fake deeds.

It is worth remembering that the situation that shook the Judiciary of La Plata emerged days ago, having as its axis alleged trucho lots in which officials and lawyers would be involved, who were arrested. One of them was supposed to appear before the prosecutor handling the case, but he opted for silence and did not provide any type of testimony.

In addition, at least one police officer and a notary are also involved in the situation, who are also behind bars, totaling about ten people involved in the criminal maneuvers. As for the lawyer in question, he is accused of fraud and is in the crosshairs of Justice for allegedly collecting a bribe from one of his clients.

The case came to light after a large operation in which 20 raids were carried out last Friday at different points, after more than two months of an investigation that concluded with the search warrants. The tasks were carried out by the personnel of the Anti-Fraud Division of the Superintendence of Federal Investigations of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA).

In this context, the detectives working on the case managed to corroborate that a large number of usurpations were occurring in various neighborhoods of our city, so they went further to determine what was behind these events. According to what they established, behind the occupations there was an organization that provided the data to a notary who prepared the adulterated documents.

With everything in place, those same properties were offered for sale on different Internet platforms. Therefore, with this evidence, the head prosecutor of UFI No. 2 requested the raids that were ordered by the judge in charge and which ended in the arrest of a dozen suspects.
