On Monday, the head of state held a meeting in the first “five” United Russia by videoconference. Among the components of the party’s success in the last elections to the State Duma, he named the “People’s Program”, which was formed taking into account the wishes of citizens. Now the leaders of the electoral list will be engaged in its implementation in the relevant party commissions.
“(Defense Minister) Sergei Shoigu – will head the commission for the development of Eastern Siberia, – said Putin. – Sergei Lavrov – the commission for international cooperation and support of compatriots abroad.” The President also instructed the Foreign Minister to pay attention to the issue of returning compatriots to their historical homeland.
The head of the Sirius educational center Yelena Shmeleva, according to Putin, will head the party commission for education and science, the head physician of the hospital №40 in Kommunarka Denis Protsenko – for health care.
Children’s Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova will lead the commission for the protection of motherhood, childhood and family protection. “And he will directly coordinate this direction in the State Duma,” the president stressed.
