Netanyahu’s spokesman and the statement to the election committee: Yonatan Urich, MK Binyamin Netanyahu’s (Likud) spokesman, apparently signed a false affidavit this evening (Sunday) as part of a Likud petition against a left-wing campaign that has been running throughout the country for the past few days – this is what the left-wing organization “Breaking the Silence” claims. Urich did not respond to the allegations.

This evening Likud submitted a petition to the Central Election Committee in order to stop the campaign of the left-wing organization “Breaking the Silence” which promises “blood – a strong occupation of Israel”

Urich, Netanyahu’s knitted spokesman, signed an affidavit according to which an advertisement by the left-wing organization said “Blood – a strong occupation of Israel is what will happen to us if we vote for Likud.” In addition, Yonatan Urich claimed, “because the organization publishes a left-wing hate text that includes hatred and incitement against the Likud.”

But the message, the silence breakers claim, does not appear in the organization’s campaign at all. “This statement is not true, and such a publication has never been published by the organization,” they said in breaking the silence.

It should be noted that in addition to the petition against those who break the silence, Likud also petitioned against the campaigns of the left-wing organizations “Zazim” and “Stand together” which were designed to encourage voting in the Arab sector

The Silence Breakers said: “The Likud’s specific involvement in the Silence Breakers campaign is a poor attempt to restart their own election campaign. Instead of addressing the reality that is crying out from the territories or referring to the tasks for which we send our soldiers to, they are trying to prevent a necessary discussion by a populist move The whole essence of which is the reduction of the democratic space in Israel.”

“The prime minister’s spokesman signed an affidavit confirming incorrect facts, which could mislead the chairman of the election committee. We will not give in to these threats,” they said, breaking the silence.

Yonatan Urich refused to comment.
