The focus of this new issue, which is aimed at an age group ranging from 5 to 13 years, but also at educators, teachers and parents, is dedicated to feelings

Dear friends, «Reading for girls and boys» is back. Sunday 7 April on newsstands with the «Corriere della Sera» (preview on Saturday on the App and digital edition), on the eve of the most important international event for publishing dedicated to children, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (from 8 to 11 April), our supplement doubles and returns to speak to younger readers – from 5 to 13 years old – to parents, teachers, educators. And also to lovers of reading more generally (a final section of stories unites all enthusiasts).

The theme is delicate and essential: feelings. As Pierdomenico Baccalario, writer and founder of the creative agency Book on a Tree which collaborates in the creation of «Letturina», explains, today to talk about love, emotions and feelings we must keep in mind many different areas. It means reasoning with heartbeat and disappointment, with consensus and control. Everything tells us about love: songs, films, video games, comics, novels and stories. On the «Letturina» there are narrators and experts doing this, but also some surprising names, such as a young singer-songwriter revelation from Sanremo… To be discovered.

The «Letturina» is also a guide, a useful tool for those seeking advice and a compass to orient themselves in the vast world of publishing for children and teenagers: in the special you will find titles, editorial news, but also suggestions, maps, points of view different to read, study, re-propose and reverse together with children and young people, to dismantle and reassemble reality and narratives.
