The Libya Africa Portfolio reviews its most important projects with the Oversight Authority

The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qadirbuh, received, at the Authority’s office in Tripoli, a delegation from the Libyan African Investment Portfolio, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Portfolio, Mustafa Abu Fanas, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan African Investment Company, Abdel Nasser Shermo, and the General Manager of the Libyan African Investment Company, Muhammad Al-Mahjoub.

The Authority stated on its official Facebook page that the meeting comes to discuss the technical, administrative and financial challenges and difficulties facing the portfolio and its subsidiaries while performing their duties.

The meeting focused on the pressing issues that constitute an obstacle to achieving the portfolio’s investment objectives and developing the projects it undertakes, the most important of which is the issue of proper direction of investments in terms of the effectiveness of management in leading investments towards success, and how to deal with the challenges they face.

The Administrative Control Authority stressed that the meeting is an important step to ensure that these portfolios achieve their goals in light of the current challenges.

The Board of Directors of the Libya Africa Investment Portfolio is currently chaired by Mustafa Abu Nas, former Minister of Economy, who was appointed by the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, in order to implement decisive reforms in the Libya Africa Portfolio to achieve progress towards the goals of economic and investment sustainability and contribute to deepening Libya’s impact and role in the African scene.

The Libya Africa Investment Portfolio was established in 2006. The portfolio works in the field of international investment, searching for investment opportunities and building a diversified and balanced portfolio that includes companies operating in various industries and regions, in addition to achieving long-term and sustainable returns.
