The Libyan parliament for years divided between Tripoli and Tobruk met in Sirte in these days to vote on the transitional unitary government of Prime Minister Dbeibah. The new executive gained confidence this morning with the support of a vast majority of deputies: 132 MPs voted in favor, 2 against and 36 absent.
With this vote it becomes clear that the Libyans are now united, exulted Dbeibeh in the classroom, who invited the Libyans to open their hearts and forget their grudges. The peace process after a decade of conflict was supported by the UN. The new executive will have to lead the country until the elections scheduled for December 24, 2021, as recalled by the president of the House of Representatives Aguila Saleh.
Dbeibah, as reported by the local press, should present today the complete list of ministers, with the inclusion of the new holders of Foreign Affairs and Defense, who were not yet present yesterday.
