Jorge López and Oscar Jaenada are the stars of the second season of ‘Operation: black tide’. The new installment occurs two years after the end of the first. Nando is in jail and his character will evolve following a journey full of betrayals and double games, always bordering on the fragile balance between what is legal and what is illegal. “There are many loose ends to tie up,” warned the couple, who pointed out that, just as the first season was based on a true story, its continuation pulls solely from fiction.

Jaenada lives halfway between Spain and Mexico. In the Aztec country she is a star, although fame brings other problems there. «They pay better, but if you are very popular you have to bring security. You attract a lot of attention and you have to be vigilant”, explained the interpreter of ‘Cantinflas’ who detailed that his bodyguards have to be armed, «just in case», he pointed out.

When it comes to getting into a role, the Catalan studies all the details of it, even those that have to do with his styling. “I always talk to the makeup, wardrobe and hair service to create the character before shooting. And on this occasion I thought that putting some Aztec tattoos referring to the warriors who fought against the Spanish would come in handy. And I found it interesting that he was wearing flip flops in prison, “he commented about his role in the series.

Jaenada’s outfits often draw attention in real life as well. Motos took advantage of the circumstance to ask her how she decides the striking clothes that she wears at festivals and award ceremonies. “I throw eggs at it, yes,” joked the artist, who immediately specified: “I wear them mainly because I really like fashion, and I associate the suit and tie with bad things, so I try to avoid it.”

Jaenada is meticulous when it comes to getting into the skin of another person in a movie, so much so that he even tunes his caravan so that its environment matches that of his character. «It is nonsense, but the smell that is breathed in that caravan needs to be special. Realize that it is the space that I am in just before entering the most sacred place that I have at work, which is the set. These are things that put me in character. And smell is important to me », he commented.

Jorge López joined the conversation to narrate an anecdote that he shared with Madonna herself. «She lived in Chile and was 20 years old. She was studying theater and a friend of mine had a gym that he invited me to go to. I went and the receptionist told me that there was a contest to find a Latin representative for Madonna’s gym in Toronto. And I introduced myself. Well, it turns out that I won and went to Toronto. The prize was a ‘master class’ with Madonna. We couldn’t get close to her, but I crossed the line they had set for her, hugged her and greeted her. The security came to throw me out, but she told them that nothing was wrong”, recalled the protagonist of ‘Elite’ or ‘Soy Luna’.
