In the history of One Plus (OnePlus) there are quite a few phones that have also received a special edition, and this happens again with the OnePlus 11, which receives a decidedly special version this time that brings to light the planet Jupiter – or rather, the rocks that make up its surface.
According to the company, each of the phones produced for the special edition OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock is unique to some extent. The back is covered with a material that is produced using a technology that the company calls ‘three-dimensional microcrystalline stone’. The material is probably glued a little differently on each phone, and beyond that it also shimmers at slightly different angles every time the light hits it. One Plus knows how to tell that they researched and developed this technology for more than a year.
Since what makes the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock special is its back, the company provided more details about the production method, such as for example that the coating material goes through nine complex processes before it can be used to ‘paint’ the back of the phone, and also stated that the production efficiency was significantly lower compared to The version with the glass back.
Beyond that, of course, the device comes in a specially designed box, and even its drawer puller is designed in the shape of a relatively large star, in the color of the back that matches the overall atmosphere.
