He Ministry of Economy will announce an increase in the limits for purchases with credit cards, in the next few hours, according to official sources confirmed to All News this Sunday morning.
The measure consists of an increase in the current margins in plastics that will be in line with the inflation rate of the first months of 2023 which, until April, stood at 32%.
In this way, the limits for payments with credit cards -both in one payment and in installments- and loans for SMEs are expected to be between 25% and 30%.
It was also reported that the measure has already been discussed with the banking sector and both the Association of Argentine Banks (ADEBA) and the one that brings together public and private entities (ABAPPRA), gave the go-ahead and even signed the agreement that was signed. will be announced in detail on Monday at 6:00 p.m. by the minister himself, Sergio Massa.
The Nation’s objective would also be to increase and strengthen credit to companies with improvements in the regulatory framework.
