On the eve of Sukkot, Rami and Yael Unger opened their home for the traditional holiday event they have been hosting for many years. This is a song written by Ehud Menor and composed by Nurit Hirsch, which was first performed in 1970 by the duo Ilan and Ilanit and was a hit. As part of the PepsiCo International Corporation’s sponsorship of the European Champions League games, SodaStream, which was purchased by PepsiCo in 2018, invited over a hundred of its employees on Tuesday to watch the match between Maccabi Haifa and Juventus at the Sami Ofer Stadium.
Sodastream, which itself sponsored the Champions League games in the 2020/21 season, held a lottery among hundreds of its employees who signed up for the opportunity to watch the soccer stars of the ‘Old Lady’ against the stars of Maccabi Haifa. More than half of the winners of the lottery were employees of the company’s factory in the Idan Negev industrial area, which is an island of peace for hundreds of Jewish, Christian and Muslim workers.

On Monday evening, the 43rd edition of the Acre International Theater Festival opened. The opening event was hosted by the mayor of Acre, Shimon Lankri, and the festival’s CEO and chief producer, Lizo Ohion.
During the event, the singer Rita appeared to those who hosted the singer Idan Habib. The evening was moderated by the TV presenter Shelmore Straussman. The festival takes place as every year, during Sukkot, and thousands of people from all over the country are expected to visit it. The opening of the exhibition “The Architecture of the Occupation” – an exhibition of photographs by the photographer Ziv Koren, which served as a setting for Amos Gitai’s film: “Night in Haifa” – was held at the Monio Gitai Weinroib Museum in Haifa. The host museum is actually an architecture museum, the first of its kind in Israel, which opened in 2012 and is located in the studio where the late architect Prof. Monio Gitai Weinroib worked. The initiative to establish an architecture museum in Haifa was the director Amos Gitai’s, who wanted to convert the studio where his father worked into a museum in his memory At the opening event, Amos Gitai’s film was screened: “West of Jordan”. On the occasion of breast cancer awareness month starting every year in October, the new campaign of the “One in Nine” association that helps women with breast cancer and their families was launched. The campaign, which is managed by the Reuveni Friedan advertising agency, was filmed in Ra’anana Park and is led for the first time by Paula Rosenberg, the TV host who is a naturopath by profession and is considered an influencer and activist working for women, positive thinking and health. The campaign photos were accompanied by Tali Rosin, CEO of the “One of Nine” association.

The actor Lior Ashkenazi arrived in Haifa to host the opening ceremony of the film festival held in the city and was hosted at the Dan Carmel Hotel. Ben Yanover, CEO of the Dan Carmel Hotel, welcomed Ashkenazi and escorted him to the business lounge on the 14th floor of the hotel with a spectacular view.
