5. During the past weekend, an event was held in New York to mark the launch of a joint chamber of commerce for New York City and the State of Israel. On Saturday morning, businessmen, celebrities and artists gathered at Carmi Bat Shlomo Winery, owned by high-tech entrepreneur and businessman Eli Wortman. 7. The Tel Aviv-Yafo Education Promotion Association held its second gala evening on Monday at the AVENUE events complex in Kiryat Sadeh Airport.
