The low pressure zone is weakening.. Which areas are likely to rain?

The depression over the Bay of Bengal will weaken today (November 22) morning. The Indian Meteorological Department said that the deep depression will move towards the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast and weaken.

A depression formed over Southwest Bay of Bengal is weakening as a deep depression. Due to this, there may be light to moderate rains at several places in North-East and heavy rain at a few places.
A couple of places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Rayalaseema
Heavy rain is likely.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain at a few places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 23.

The low pressure area moved in west-northwest direction and centered over southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal around 5.30 pm yesterday. Then moved towards Tamil Nadu – Puducherry coast. It is reported that the depression will maintain its intensity till midnight and weaken into a deep depression today.

Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranipet and Vellore districts are likely to receive heavy rain at one or two places today. For Chennai, the sky will be generally cloudy for the next 24 hours. Moderate rain with thundershower may occur at few places. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be around 27-28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 22-23 degrees Celsius.
