In a context of extreme drought, Morocco has been taken aback by six devastating fires since July 13th. The first assessments show some 4,660 hectares destroyed in the province of Larache, located in the north of the country, the main focus of the lights, note Le Desk.

These fires started in these wooded territories of the kingdom. They not only resulted in the death of one person in Larache, but also caused the displacement of 1,325 families from 19 villages surrounded by flames.
