The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan named the countries to which the main exports of Azerbaijani products were carried out in January 2024, Day.Az reports.
According to the information, a quarter of exports, namely 25.5 percent, in January came from Italy.
The top three largest buyers of Azerbaijani products are Turkey (16.5 percent of the export volume) and Israel – 16.2 percent.
Exports were also carried out to Thailand (6.3 percent), Portugal (4.8 percent), India (4.3 percent), Tunisia (4.2 percent), Russia – 4.1 percent, Georgia – 3.5 percent, Bulgaria – 3.2 percent, Indonesia – 2.9 percent, Greece – 2.4 percent, Spain – 2.2 percent.
The share of Ukraine and Belgium in exports is 0.4 percent each.
Kyrgyzstan, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Malta and the United States accounted for 0.3 percent each.
In general, during this period, legal entities and individuals of Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with their partners in 131 countries of the world. Products were exported to 72 countries. imports were carried out from 124 countries.
