The Tver Academic Drama Theater announced the death of Vera Efremova, People’s Artist of Russia, artistic director and chief director, at the age of 91.
“An epoch director, a legend of the Soviet and Russian national theater, a lump in the world of theatrical art, a teacher, a writer, an amazingly wise person, a woman of stunning energy and strength,” Vera Efremova’s personality characterized the theater.
Vera Efremova also worked a lot and fruitfully in theaters in Saratov, Chelyabinsk, Ryazan, Kaluga, Ulyanovsk.
Farewell to Vera Andreevna will take place at the Tver Academic Drama Theater on June 4 (Friday) at 12:00.
