Grants for theatrical activities, neighborhood exercises and the Maria Ida Viglino Foundation

On the proposal of the councilor for cultural heritage, tourism, sport and commerce, the regional council of the Aosta Valley approved today, in execution of the resolution of the regional council no. 72/2021, the allotment plan of contributions to support local theatrical activity for the year 2021, for a total cost of 245,642 euros.

The Executive also examined the criteria and procedures for granting, for the year 2021, the extraordinary contributions in favor of neighborhood businesses for the retail trade of foodstuffs and first necessities provided for by art. 29 of Regional Law 1/2020, for a total cost of 1,500,000 euros. The resolution will now be sent to the competent council commission.

On the proposal of the councilor for Education, Universities, Social Policies, European Affairs and Participate, the Board approved the determination of the total amount of contribution for the Maria Ida vigilante Foundation envisaged, by way of a contribution to the financing of the activities for the year 2021, for an amount of 1,547,788.50 euros, equal to 90 percent of the personnel expenditure indicated in the Foundation’s budget for the financial year 2021, and to pay the balance of the contribution in question equal to € 867,388.50, aimed at ensuring the performance of the Foundation’s activities and the payment of mandatory personnel expenses.

The regional government has also approved the procedures for the attribution, for the academic year 2020/2021, of study grants and accommodation grants for students enrolled in university courses at the Aosta Valley universities or at the Nursing course at the University of Turin, Aosta, for a cost of € 292,400. Finally, the Executive approved the procedures for the allocation, for the academic year 2020/2021, of study grants and accommodation grants to Valdostan university students enrolled in university courses outside Valle d’Aosta, for an expense of 1,190. 000 euros.
