The management of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem announced last night (Wednesday) to the Medical Association that with the consent of all parties concerned, a mediation procedure will be held in the case of “giving the cakes to a terrorist”. The mediation process will be held early next week by retired district court judge Hila Gerstel, who is expected to rule on the matter within a few days.

Dr. Mahajana denied the acts attributed to him and said that on the day of the incident, he celebrated with another doctor the fact that they had passed exams in their specialty, and the members of the auxiliary force and the kitchen workers distributed the food left over from the celebration to the patients. According to him, one of the workers brought the food into the terrorist’s room. He entered the terrorist’s room. “I went over and checked on him, I asked him how he was doing,” he repeated, “I asked the police to take him out of bed for physical therapy.” Mahajana said that he wore a uniform and a badge and did not take a picture with the terrorist: “I never said to the terrorist ‘Congratulations’ ‘ or ‘Saha,’ and certainly not ‘Shahid,'” he emphasized.
The management of “Hadasa” stated that it is “determined not to allow political parties from any side to intervene and exert pressures that would harm the body that in all its years of existence is a symbol and example of coexistence” and that it intends to have a professional, matter-of-fact and speedy procedure as possible.
