The studio audience cast their votes on Saturday night, and it was Disc Jockey and Gargoyle who landed in the bottom two. with their fate in the hands of the judges, Maya jama delivered the deciding verdict, saving Gargoyle and sending Alex Jones home.

For her only performance, Disc Jockey took on Chappell Roan’s hit song, “Pink Pony Club.” The judges were left puzzled, offering guesses ranging from DJ Annie Mac to baking show favorite Mary Berry. Ultimately, none of the judges correctly identified the celebrity behind the mask as the presenter of “The One Show,” Alex Jones.

Many viewers at home were equally surprised by the reveal of the Welsh broadcaster under the elaborate costume.

Fan Reactions to the Reveal

Social media lit up with reactions to the unmasking. Some fans felt the clues were misleading. “Not surprised nobody got Alex Jones. I swear all the clues on this show are about their mum’s cousin’s cousin who lived in Zimbabwe in 1994 or some bs,” one viewer wrote. Others commented on Jones’s vocal performance, noting, “Alex Jones sounds REALLY different singing to when she’s talking.”

Earlier in the show, Anne-Marie was revealed as Goldfish after appearing in the show’s first-ever band performance. She then joined the judging panel for the remainder of the episode.

Six more contestants will perform tomorrow night, January 4.
