The next celebrity revelation was on “The Masked Singer” on Saturday evening.

After a breakdown last week, in which it was quite clear that actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (67) was under the kiwi, presenter Matthias Opdenhövel (53) also remembered the slipped mask from last Saturday with a smile: “ Eva Padberg was the fire extinguisher. The Martian mouse was there for the first time. And the Kiwi’s mask flew off a bit. The great thing is: There’s always something new happening here!”

The guests were definitely new that evening: The Bosshoss took their place in the team around Ruth Moschner (47) and Alvaro Soler (32). BossHoss singer Alec Völkel knows the “Masked Singer” experience from the position under the mask: He sang as an alien in the show in 2020.

Kiwi surprisingly continues

Despite the mask breakdown: The Kiwi performed “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins so convincingly that The BossHoss would have liked to send him straight to Wacken. However, Matthias Opdenhövel was still stunned by the breakdown last week: “We still have security and more. We have privacy walls, we have tinted windows. We have cameras and satellites everywhere and we are making sure that no one recognizes the celebrities beforehand, every second of these six weeks. And then during a performance the Kiwi’s cap simply flies off his head!” The wind machine was to blame – Opdenhövel jokingly claimed: “Heads will roll. They already are.”

Völkel didn’t think last week’s slipped mask was a bad thing and half-jokingly suggested a strategy: “A mishap doesn’t happen by chance. Maybe he still had a mask on and is really a bird, namely Jürgen Vogel?”

Not unreasonable for Opdenhövel: “There are people with a lot of faces. Ruth alone has twelve.”

At the end of the evening, the Kiwi was one of the shaky candidates – but another celebrity had to drop the mask.

He was in the Martian mouse

She was missing in the first week for some unknown reason: the Martian mouse. Since then there has been speculation as to what the reason for the prevention was. This time the blue plush mouse with an astronaut helmet performed “Let me entertain you” by Robbie Williams – and received slight criticism from Völkel: “Screw the sounds. Nobody was sitting, but the show was good!”

The Martian mouse reacted offended, while Ruth Moschner almost couldn’t stop laughing: “I can’t handle the stuffed bunny in there at all. I have a stomach ache from laughing!” She guessed presenter Pierre M. Krause (47) and continued to laugh: “He also has such a great sense of humor. He would be stupid enough to squeeze himself into an exploding Smurf.”

Alvaro Soler said he recognized Jenke von Wilmsdorff (58), the guest in the first episode: “Somehow I think a little bit: I know that voice. Also that entertainment factor… In the first show the person wasn’t there. Maybe because this person was on the advice team.”

On the show on November 18th the Martian mouse was missing. Jenke von Wilmsdorff was there as a guest juror – apparently no coincidence!

Shortly before the unmasking, everyone was sure: This is Jenke von Wilmsdorff. Alec Völkel alluded to his sugar experiment: “So sweet! Maybe it’s the sugar.”

And really: Jenke von Wilmsdorff came out from under the mask and thanked the entire team: “That was the funniest experiment! Singing isn’t my greatest strength, but it’s fun!”
