The rush to the hospital was useless: the little girl died of her injuries, in front of her parents. One hundred days after the protests began, more than 500 demonstrators were killed, including 69 children

Saha Etebari was a 12-year-old girl. She was in a car with her family in Bastak, Hormogzan province, when Iranian security forces fired on them. The bullets hit the car and then the body of little Saha. The rush to the hospital was useless ed she died soon after of her injuries, in front of her parents.

Saha was killed on December 25, precisely forty days after another child, Kian Pirfalak who was 9 years old, was also shot while he was in the car with his family, in Izeh. In this case, the regime tried to blame the protesters, but it was Kian’s mother who told how it happened: The security forces repeatedly fired at our car, killing my son and wounding my husband.

Saha’s father was forced to say in a video that the killing of his daughter is in no way related to the protests. For every innocent killed, tortured, raped, disappeared from Iran, there is a family tormented by pain but also by the intimidation of the regime, writes a user on Twitter. It is no news that the men of the dictatorship force the parents of its victims to publicly confess falsehoods.

As for Kian, the latest photos of Saha are circulating on social networks – black eyes, white veil, open book in hands – and the angry appeals of activists and Iranians who a hundred days after the start of the demonstrations are still the streets of the whole country to demand, united, the end of the theocratic regime of Ayatollah Khamenei and an end to the violence.

Since September 16, the day Mahsa Amini, symbol of the beginning of the revolution, died, according to the human rights news agency (HRANA), more than 500 demonstrators have been killed, including 69 minors. Two protesters were executed and at least 26 others are reportedly awaiting execution.
