The maximum price of energy in the United Kingdom will rise by 80%

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) – The cost of energy for UK consumers will rise by 80% from October, UK regulator Ofgem said on Friday, pushing the average annual bill for UK households to 3,549 pounds ($4,188).
