British game developer SFB Games, known for titles like Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together and Tangle Tower, has announced a new murder mystery game called The Mermaid’s Tongue. The game was revealed during the Developer Day: The Game Awards Showcase, and it will serve as a follow-up to the previously debuted Tangle Tower.
In The Mermaid’s Tongue, players will once again step into the shoes of the duo Grimmauld and Sally as they tackle new cases. The game’s story revolves around the murder of the reclusive captain of a strange submarine in the dark waters outside a long-abandoned fishing town. Players will have to uncover the truth behind the captain’s mysterious background and solve the murder.
The game is set to release on PC and consoles in 2024, although specific platforms and dates have not been announced. However, a PC demo of the game is currently available to play, and a trailer showcasing gameplay is also available for fans to check out.
