The mica powder made me sick; I’m glad I’m back at school

by time news

Last year, I heard about a “Balmanch” children’s club among my friends who had started school. I wanted to go too, but my parents weren’t sure. Those who worked at the Balmanch talked to my parents about the advantages of me going to school instead of going to work. They explained to them that when you start working from childhood you are trapped in poverty, and that Balmanch could help pay for my education and help me move towards the future I dreamed of.

Later, Balmanch helped me re-enroll in school. I received books and school supplies through a scholarship. I have returned to school with my friends, and I am happy.
