The Minister started the construction of free toilets for 110 families on behalf of Mahendra Corpora- Dinamani

Tourism Minister K. Ramachandran on Wednesday started the construction of free toilets for 110 families in backward villages in Coonoor on behalf of Mahendra Corporation.

There are more than a thousand residences in areas such as Old Aruvankadu, Indira Nagar, Nunthalamattam, Kethip Palada near Coonoor. For 110 households without toilet facilities, under the village level house construction scheme, Rs. Mahindra Company has decided to build free toilets at a cost of 70 lakhs. The opening ceremony for the construction work was held on Wednesday. In this, Minister Ka. Ramachandran attended and started the work.

Coonoor Kotatchiya Bhushanakumar, Mahendra Company’s Rural Sales Manager Ravi Shankar, Mahendra Sales Division Chonda Maheshkhanna, Highland Trust Director Alphonseraj and many others participated in this program.
