In implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafa Abu Bakr Al-Kilani, the Director of the Humanitarian Affairs and Aid Department and the Chairman of the Psychological Support Committee, accompanied by the Crisis and Emergency Committee team in the Western Region, made a field visit to some of the affected families who are sheltering in the headquarters of some companies in the municipalities of Al-Awata and Al-Arban.
The visit included “identifying the affected families, listening to their needs, and recording details of their difficult living conditions.”
These efforts aim to “prepare a detailed report on the conditions of the affected families to submit to the Minister and the relevant authorities, to take the necessary measures to provide urgent support and assistance.”
Efforts focused on “supporting specific groups such as persons with disabilities and children, while discussing ways to alleviate their suffering and provide them with a safe and healthy environment.” The visit also discussed providing necessary humanitarian aid, including food, shelter, and health care.
This visit also comes within “the framework of the continuous efforts made by the Ministry of Social Affairs to support the most needy families, especially in areas facing exceptional circumstances.”
