jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) is taking firm steps in dealing with the problem of online gambling.

One of them is by highlighting the Higgs Domino Island case which has been a matter of public discussion for almost the last eight months.

After going through a significant feature adjustment process, the board and card game, which has been downloaded tens of millions of times, is now available online again.

This is due to Higgs Domino Island’s compliance with government regulations and directions which is realized by removing the submit chip sharing button in the game.

This step marks an important milestone in enforcing policies and social responsibility in the online gaming industry in Indonesia.

Syahrial, a Higgs Domino Island player, appreciates the Ministry of Communication and Information’s right steps in asking game developers to remove the game submit button.

He emphasized that many players take advantage of this feature to make illegal profits.

“The sending feature is often used by many people to buy and sell chips, even though this game is only intended for entertainment,” said Syahrial, Tuesday (27/2).
