According to him, the increase is due to the update in May of the Smart City standard. According to him, expanding the list of mandatory technologies will require an increase in funding by at least 50%.

According to the current project passport on the website of the Ministry of Construction, from 2018 to 2024, it is planned to allocate 13 billion rubles for it. with an annual financing of more than 2 billion rubles. The Smart City Standard is a framework document that defines the implementation of measures aimed at the digital transformation of the urban economy and management system. The first version of this standard appeared back in 2018 and included only eight directions. In the new standard, the number of directions has been expanded.
